Within a veil of pure white
of promises and dreams
I stood before the man I love
and vowed for eternity

To have, to hold, for better or worse
together, come what may
But did I really understand
the vows we made that day?

For life throws unexpected curves
and deals us many blows
And we wonder how we came to be
lost in the afterglow

Then when the honeymoon was over
I learnt to understand
That one fine day of tulle and dreams
was where it all began....

Just a dream I longed to have
to live in love forever,
A bride embraced within the arms
husband and wife together

But one fine day dressed in white
is not reality,
It's just the wedding dreams of love
we share eternally.
