Give me a good book anytime
a thriller or mystery
Let me devour each aspect
that has become such a part of me!
Each page does surely come to life
as I sit in bed at night
Holding my eyelids open but
I just can't turn out the light!
Whichever tale I'm reading
takes complete control
As I find myself suspended
within the book I hold.
Immersed in every aspect
of the vast psychology
Of killers and their profiles
as I solve each mystery.
Such a fascination
for this I must confess
As each puzzle unravels
it's mystery I love best!
There's never any shortage
I've plenty of books you see,
And if I'm not on my computer
then I'm reading, I guarantee!
