Don't they know
united we stand
Praying together
and joining our hands....
Don't they know
that when it comes down
We will not give in,
we'll never back down....
Don't they know
we'll fight on the beach,
Within the hills
and on the streets....
Don't they know
they'll never break
Our pride or our spirit
within violent wake....
Don't they know
we've seen our share
Of wars we've fought
throughout despair....
Don't they know
that through it all
We still stand proud,
we will not fall....
Don't they know
when will they learn
Our candle's brighter
when it burns....
Yes, don't they know
the world unites
We'll not forget,
we'll stand and fight....
"Even in the midst of tragedy the Britons' resolve has not weakened. This poem is written in tribute to the terrorist attack on London on 7th July 2005, and the stiff upper lip of the British that continues on in the face of terror. United we stand!"
